Junk Food isn't Good for Your Health !!!

This posting is different from the others. Yeah, I'm using English for this posting. Why?? Because I only re post my English homework. Check it Out!!!



Junk Food
is a kind of food that has less nutrition. It's often high in sugar, calories, fat, and salt. That's why junk food isn't good for your health...

Foods commonly considered junk foods include salted snack foods, sugary carbonated beverages, sweet desserts, etc... Many foods such as hamburgers, pizza, and tacos can be considered either healthy or junk foods depending on their ingredients and preparation methods.

There's a research that suggested that junk food consumption alters brain activity in a manner similar to addictive drugs, like heroine and cocaine. The proof is, after many weeks with unlimited access to junk food, the pleasure centers of rat brains became desensitized, requiring more foods for pleasure. After the junk food was taken away and replace with healthy food, the rat starved for 2 weeks instead of eating nutritious food. In addition, a study found that the female rats who eat junk foods during their pregnancy increased the likelihood of unhealthy eating habit in their offspring. All of that can be happened to humans who like eating junk food too..

It's difficult to avoid junk foods in our daily life. But we can reduce junk foods gradually.. ;)
